New York – Oct 9, 2019

Dig Down Media to produce the eNASCAR Peak Antifreeze iRacing Series Championship from virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Riding on the success of the recent NBC Sports iRacing All-Star events on NASCAR America, NBC Sports announced the $100k eNASCAR Championship finale to be broadcast live in partnership with Dig Down Media.

The four championship drivers will compete to take home the largest share of the $100,000 prize pool from a field of forty. The broadcast will mark the first time an official eNASCAR PEAK Antifreeze iRacing Series race has been aired live on national television. Krista Voda, Parker Kligerman, and Steve Letarte will be on hand in the studio to call the action live.

“The increased energy and industry collaboration around the eNASCAR PEAK Antifreeze iRacing Series culminates with this first-ever championship broadcast,” said Tim Clark, senior vice president and chief digital officer, NASCAR. “Our fans expect thrilling, side-by-side racing, and eNASCAR on NBCSN will deliver.”

Added John Barnes, producer, NASCAR, NBC Sports: “NASCAR America is excited to showcase the best iRacers in the world competing for a championship. Since its inception, NASCAR America has showcased sim racing to our viewers and we are thrilled to take the next step by crowning a champion.”

Dig Down Media provides integration, engineering and productions services to NBC Sports, including in-studio live production of the simulator-based content. These events will feature Dig Down Media’s custom graphics engine providing real-time scoring and telemetry using the NASCAR on NBC graphics package.

“It has been an incredible journey helping to grow iRacing esports from early beginnings to championship events on national television. We are beyond excited to partner once again with NBC Sports, iRacing and NASCAR to bring fans the very best in digital content.

Today’s announcement comes after a successful run of iRacing All-Star events broadcast live on NBC Sports over the summer. You can catch all the action live tomorrow on NBCSN starting at 5pm ET.
